The UNIQ Intellectual Games Tournament - on the occasion of CRC's 30th anniversary
On the Universal Children's Day, about 70 boys and girls tested their logic and critical thinking in the final of intellectual games

Universal Children's Day is globally marked by UNICEF every year on November 20, being a chance to promote, raise awareness and raise funds for the most pressing issues children around the world face.




The UNIQ-2019 Intellectual Games Tournament was organized by UNICEF in partnership with the Intellectual Games Association and the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova. The regional preliminary stage started on October 17th, being intended for students of the 9th - 12th grades from the Romanian and Russian educational institutions in the cities of Comrat, Chisinau, Ungheni and Balti. Today, on the day of the 30th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the winning regional teams participated in the final game.


Several important Moldovan personalities in the field of music, arts, sports, businessmen, politicians joined the children's teams and tried to find answers to questions about children's rights and sustainable development goals together.
