About

Ijthimaaee Badhahi Madhadhuverin’ (IBAMA) is a multi-sectoral support mechanism formed at community level for preventing and responding to violence against children (VAC) and other vulnerable groups and ensuring their access to social protection and services. IBAMA is led by the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSFD), but stakeholders at central and island level responsible for coordinated implementation in accordance with the IBAMA Regulation also include other government counterparts. The objective of this evaluation is to identify the successes in implementation of IBAMA as well as the challenges and bottlenecks to implementation and achievement of outcomes.
