The regional socio-economic profiles of the 20 regions of Kazakhstan were prepared by UNICEF based on data from the 2024 Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) and up-to-date administrative data on the well-being of children and women, including issues related to health, education, child discipline, child protection, as well as regional economic development indicators. Based on the analysis, key challenges and growth opportunities for each region are presented.
