UNICEF Iran Representative and Vice-President for Science and Technology met and discussed partnership on Innovations for Children

UNICEF Iran Representative, Ms. Mandeep O’Brien, met His Excellency, Vice-President for Science and Technology, Dr. Sourena Sattari on 16 September 2019.

In this courtesy meeting, Ms. O’Brien referred to the partnership between UNICEF Iran Office and Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology on Innovations for Children in Iran Initiative as a great step towards achieving results for children.

Ms. O’Brien stated that UNICEF Iran stands ready to showcase achievements in innovations of the Vice-Presidency through UNICEF’s platforms and cross-share international expertise and good practises on results for children.

His Excellency Dr. Sattari mentioned the success of the country in creating knowledge-based economy and the culture of entrepreneurship and expressed his full support in localizing UNICEF successful innovative experiences for children in various areas, in particular skills-based education in schools.
