During this training which was officially launched on Monday July 11th with remarks by senior officials of UNICEF and MOHME, the participants will enhance their capacities in providing quality and effective psychosocial support services as part of HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and care for HIV infected and affected adolescents, youth, and their families.
The course will focus on quality evidence-based and family-based interventions and counseling skills to meet the needs of vulnerable at-risk adolescents. In December 2021, UNICEF had already trained these practitioners on ‘HIV/AIDS prevention and care among young people.
