UNICEF Global Learning Innovation Hub
A home for the architects of the future of learning
In an era of unprecedented digital advancement, we have a unique opportunity to address the global learning crisis—a crisis that has left 272 million children out of school and two-thirds of 10-year-olds in low-and-middle-income countries in unable to read a simple text.
Launched in 2022 by UNICEF in partnership with the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, the Global Learning Innovation Hub is shaping the future of learning for every child.
The Hub drives systemic change by moving beyond "digital as usual." We leverage cutting-edge technology and innovation to break down barriers to quality education, rather than simply replicating traditional teaching methods with a digital layer. Our vision is to use digital learning solutions to actively bridge persistent divides, including those based on gender and disability.
By accelerating evidence-based digital pedagogies and solutions, the Hub ensures that even the most marginalized children can access equal opportunities to learn and thrive in the digital era.
The Future of Learning is NOW.
