Nicholas Saputra

Award-winning actor and environmental activist Nicholas Saputra was announced as UNICEF Indonesia’s second national ambassador on November 11^th 2019. Nico, as he is commonly known, is a well-known actor, producer, director and model. He has been in the industry since 2002 and has gained recognition for his acting skills not only in Indonesia but also at the international level.

His passion for nature, environmental protection and cultural diversity in Indonesia led him to produce SEMES7A, a documentary about seven people from different provinces in Indonesia and their effort to address the effects of climate change based on their respective religions, faiths and cultures.

Nico believes that to make the world a better place for children, we must take better care of the environment, as we only have one earth for the next generations.
