UNICEF Indonesia's National Ambassador
Ferry Salim was appointed as UNICEF Indonesia’s first National Ambassador in 2004. He is a loving father of three and a well-known actor, model and presenter. Ferry has been working in the Indonesian film industry since 1996, starring in successful movies such as Ca Bau Kan, Soekarno: Indonesia Merdeka, and A Man Called Ahok, among others.
Since becoming a UNICEF National Ambassador, Ferry has been passionately involved in different UNICEF nationwide campaigns that have taken him around the country. He has often mentioned publicly that his work with UNICEF to advocate for children’s education, protection and health has given him a new perspective on life.
