Shyam Shukla, appointed as a UNICEF India Youth Advocate at the age of 15, is a passionate advocate for road safety and adolescent health, recognized for his leadership in promoting safer mobility and youth engagement in public health dialogues. He has conducted multiple road safety workshops and represented youth voices at the World Health Regional Summit 2024.
As a Helmet Ambassador, Shyam leads awareness initiatives focused on responsible driving and helmet use among young people. He conceptualized and designed “Project Safe on Roads”, a youth-led campaign aimed at preventing road accidents through education, peer outreach, and community collaboration.
Shyam has also participated in the Youth Consultation with Dr. Zoya, Deputy Commissioner, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), contributing youth perspectives on health, safety, and well-being. His work reflects his commitment to building safer, healthier communities driven by informed and empowered young citizens.
On National Youth Day 2026, along with Gauranshi and Unnathi, Shyam reaffirmed that children and youth of today care, believe, and act for real change.
