CII and UNICEF India collaborate in areas such as nutrition, Education, and WASH to leverage support from the private sector. They have actively developed programmes to generate relevant support from the businesses.

The collaboration supports the Sustainable Development Goals, and CII and UNICEF enjoy a long-standing association through key partnerships across the country.

UNICEF and CII have created CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) hubs, which have become an important model, creating key results, including in water and sanitation (WASH)-in-Schools, adopting Anganwadis as model Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) Centres with child-friendly infrastructure and focus on early childhood development and developing disaster preparedness plans.

The overall goal is to jointly strengthen the knowledge base gained through the implementation of these programs and build the capacity of the corporate sector's involvement in CSR.

UNICEF is proud to partner with CII and together engage with businesses and other stakeholders to effectively share knowledge and expertise, and together build scalable and impactful programme models for the benefit of children across the country
