Reflecting on her own childhood, she recalls a time when many children were vulnerable to diseases that are now preventable through vaccines.

It’s a serious matter.” Thanks to the continuous surveillance and quality monitoring of vaccines by the Ministry of Health and Population and UNICEF’s support, young mothers like Yara’s in Egypt have not witnessed the terrible disability and death cases due to diseases such as diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, mumps, measles, rubella and polio.

The application shows me any problem in details so I can understand the direct cause and deal with it.” The training Islam and 34 other trainees received in 2024 was conducted by the MOHP with UNICEF’s support and USAID fund.
