Highlights

The UNICEF Refugee Response Office was established shortly after the escalation of the war in Ukraine in 2022. From 2022 to 2025 UNICEF partnered with the Government of the Czech Republic, civil society organizations, and private sector partners to support the national refugee response, providing vital services and support to refugee children, youth and families.

This brochure offers a summary of joint activities, projects and results that have been achieved to ensure protection, education, healthcare, and opportunities for hundreds of thousands of refugee children, young people, and families from Ukraine – while strengthening the national system to support all children living in the country.
