UNICEF and UENSCO, in partnership with Indonesia, are pleased to announce a Gateways Study Visit in Bali, Indonesia, from 1 to 3 October 2024.

Organized under the theme “Championing Innovation: Embracing power of Digital Transformation in Education”, the visit will detail how Indonesia is leveraging different digital platforms to enhance the equity and quality of education.

The Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology will share how its Merdeka Belajar (Emancipated Learning) policy has facilitated changes to education in online both offline learning environments.

Representatives from approximately 25 countries will share knowledge and experiences from their respective national contexts, clarifying good practices and contributing ideas in a spirit of cooperation.

The Gateways Study Visit will also feature excursions to schools and cultural events that highlight Bali’s unique heritage and creative expression.
