The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic has changed the lives of children and their families.
As COVID-19 has spread, so has misinformation, fueling discrimination and stigma. UNICEF is working with health experts to promote facts about fear, and providing trusted guidance to parents, caregivers and educators. We are on the ground in more than 190 countries, partnering with front-line personnel to keep children healthy and learning, protected from disease and violence, no matter who they are or where they live.
Make sure you get information from official sources, such as UNICEF and the World Health Organization (WHO).
