Play. Learn. Grow.
Where playful learning and early intervention come together
In celebration of Early Childhood Stimulation Month, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology, together with UNICEF, visited Hope Preschool in Santa Elena and delivered new stimulation kits designed to strengthen playful learning and support healthy early childhood development.
This was a first of four visits where Santiago Juan, Mount Caramel and Esperanza Preschools also received kits as part of our ongoing partnership to expand access to quality early learning. These resources help create nurturing, interactive environments where young children can explore, express themselves, and develop the foundational skills they need to thrive.
Therapeutic preschools like Hope play a critical role in early childhood development. By offering structured, child‑centered learning and emotional support, they help ensure that every child including those with developmental delays or additional needs gets the right start in life.
UNICEF is proud to support Belize in strengthening early learning environments that prioritize holistic development and inclusion. Because when we invest in early childhood, we invest in stronger communities and brighter futures.
Together, we’re building strong foundations for Belize’s youngest learners.
