Why businesses should think about children?
We are adamant that working together and partnering with businesses can change the lives of many children for the better.
Businesses have colossal resources for protecting children: these are internal policies, their own products and services, marketing, building a comfortable environment for work and life, the development of social infrastructure, and the impact on economic development.
In other words, companies can act as a source of funding, provide their expertise and technology, participate in creating social projects, conduct educational and outreach work using the opportunities to reach the audience, their voice and influence.
UNICEF projects in partnership with business
How UNICEF sees partnership
Partnership modalities between UNICEF in Belarus and businesses can be different: both financial and non-financial.
For example, this can be:
- fundraising or establishment of joint projects for the benefit of children;
- conducting information campaigns to support social projects;
- or developing smart solutions improving a child's life.
UNICEF also encourages companies to evaluate internal policies in terms of respect for children's rights, equal opportunities for women and men, and respect for the values of responsible parenthood.
