She has used her influential social media platform to advocate for women’s rights and for her millions of followers, she has become a strong voice against violence. Mim was appointed UNICEF National Ambassador in May 2022 for her commitment to protecting the rights of children and women in Bangladesh, and building a safer world for the most vulnerable in society. Mim has been a good friend of UNICEF’s since 2020, and has played an active role in campaigning for people to wear masks and get vaccinated against COVID-19.
