Mapping the global goals for Sustainable Development and the Convention on the Rights of the Child
Rights of the children
The Global Sustainable Development Goals are universal in scope, and their call to leave no one behind puts the world’s most vulnerable and marginalized people – including children – at the top of the agenda. This interactive document aims to encourage an in-depth and broad-based exploration of the links and synergies between them and the Convention on the Rights of the Child. It assumes that all of the Global Goals are relevant for children, not only those which specifically refer to children. The intention of the publication is to inform the users about the comprehensive connections between the two frameworks so as to reinforce their potential for mutual advocacy and implementation.
