Cholera Awareness Mini Series

Cholera is on the rise with an estimated 1.4 billion people at risk in endemic countries. An outbreak occurred in Zimbabwe in September 2018. Watch this video mini-series developed for UNICEF by Vuka Africa, to learn on how you can prevent cholera.

Part 1 - "Muroyi NDIANI?" (Who is the witch?)

Mai Tino (Tino's Mother) discovers her daughter Tino is not feeling well and thinks she has been bewitched. Her neighbor, Baba Tatenda (Tatenda's Father) comes over and suspects that her daughter has cholera but Mai Tino is in denial.

Baba Tino (Tino's Father) joins his wife (Mai Tino) outside . Their neighbor, Baba Tatenda (Tatenda's Father) continues to advise them on good personal hygiene.

Tino arrives from school and joins her parents outside. She is excited about what she has learned at school on good personal hygiene and shares with her parents.

Tino (Daughter) and Baba Tatenda (Neighbour) continue to explain to Baba na Mai Tino (Tino's Parents) the importance of good hygiene. Tino explains the Sugar and Salt Solutions and convinces the parents make it and save the baby's life.
