The SitAn plays an important role in shaping the 2026-2030 Turkmenistan-UNICEF Country Programme, as well as in the development of the next United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF).

Highlights

The primary purpose of the Situation Analysis of Women and Children (SitAn) in Turkmenistan is to inform transformational and lasting change for women and children, their families and communities. This analysis offers a comprehensive overview of the steps the government has taken to advance the rights of women and children, in alignment with the National Plan of Action for the Realization of Children’s Rights in Turkmenistan (NPAC).
