Highlights
The report documents “The Design for Impact: Green Skills to Green Livelihoods Workshop” organized by UNICEF Timor-Leste during 2026. This two-day co-creation workshop brought together 40 selected young women from across Timor-Leste, alongside 10 participants from the Laudato Si’ Movement, to explore how environmental challenges, such as climate change, can be transformed into opportunities for innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihoods.
The workshop attracted strong interest, with more than 100 applications received, reflecting the participants’ high level of motivation to contribute to environmental solutions and future employment opportunities. Through an engaging and collaborative learning process, participants worked together to strengthen green skills and identify pathways for building environmentally responsible and economically sustainable futures.
