A comprehensive Joint Sector Review (JSR) on Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) report provides an in-depth analysis of the sector's needs and capacity. Developed collaboratively by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Tajikistan and UNICEF in Tajikistan, this report sets a precedent for institutionalizing regular joint reviews in the country. The aim is to accelerate progress and advocate for evidence-based resource allocation and mobilization in the WASH sector. By systematically evaluating the current status and performance of WASH services, the JSR report helps identify gaps, prioritize interventions, and ensure that efforts are aligned with national and international goals, including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
