Mothers in Mahas Kutrang learn about the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding

As we continue to mark this year’s World Breastfeeding Week 2020, we would like to share with you a story about the inspiring mother support group in Mahas Kutrang, Khartoum state. The journey is not always easy but the right support can help families give their child the best start in life. UNICEF Sudan is targeting almost one million pregnant and lactating mothers in 2020, with counselling on breastfeeding and infant and young child feeding, alongside the Ministry of Health and partners.
