Highlights
- Crisis: In 2025, all 320,000 children under five in Gaza were at risk of acute malnutrition.
- Education Collapse: All 637,000 school-aged children in Gaza lacked access to formal education, with 95.5 per cent of all 815 schools in Gaza damaged or destroyed.
- UNICEF provided 75,881 children with ready to use complementary food and supported 252,002 children through temporary learning spaces in the Gaza Strip.
- Escalating Violence in the West Bank: 239 Palestinian children and four Israeli children were killed in conflict-related violence, between 7 October 2023 and 31 December 2025, and more than 1,930 Palestinian children were injured (43 per cent by live ammunition).
- UNICEF enabled Health facilities in the West Bank to continue providing care to 357,088 people, including newborns, children, and women.
- The UNICEF 2025 HAC appeal was 76 per cent funded. The has allowed UNICEF to deliver life-saving responses to 687,000 children and their families, reaching more than 1.5 million people
