Highlights

This brief summarizes the key findings of the 2024 Country Programme Evaluation (CPE), which assessed UNICEF Sierra Leone’s contribution to results for children under the 2020–2024 Country Programme. Using a theory-based, mixed-methods approach and consultations and household surveys nationwide, the evaluation examined how UNICEF’s integrated strategies supported children’s rights and development outcomes. Lessons from the evaluation inform accountability, learning, and the design of the 2025–2030 Country Programme.
