Our mission

UNICEF has been working in Sierra Leone for over 30 years, to uphold the rights and well-being of all children across health, nutrition, HIV/AIDS, water, sanitation and hygiene, protection, education, social inclusion, emergencies, disabilities and adolescent development.

The Country Programme aims to reach all children, especially the most vulnerable. With our child-focused mandate, country presence and operational capacity, we support the Government of Sierra Leone and other partners to help every child reach their full potential.
