The analysis presented in this report, conducted as part of the project “Bridging the Gender Gap: Understanding and Promoting Young Women’s Interest and Participation in ICT Education and Careers in Serbia”, was initiated by the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia, with the support of UNICEF Serbia.
The analysis was conducted by SeConS Development Initiative Group, based on official statistical data on the education and employment of girls and women in the ICT1 sector, findings from available studies, and original qualitative research carried out between October an December 2024. The research is of great importance for understanding the factors that influence girls’ decisions regarding educational pathways and career choices.
