Belgrade, 22 October 2025 – UNICEF warns the public about false messages circulating online that misuse UNICEF’s name and logo to deceive citizens and obtain financial gain.

We have been informed that an online platform called “OKE Green Platform” and a Telegram group under the name “ОКЕ-Греен Греен Комуникациона и дискусиона група” are unlawfully using UNICEF’s identity and falsely claiming affiliation with our organization. These channels are asking users to pay so-called “management fees” and misleadingly state that, in case of non-payment, all funds will be “donated to UNICEF for the benefit of every child in Serbia.”

UNICEF has no connection with these platforms and no partnership of any kind with “OKE Green Platform.” We urge the public not to respond to such messages, not to make any payments, and not to share personal or financial information with these or similar entities.

The unauthorized use of UNICEF’s name, logo, and reputation misleads people and exploits their goodwill. All official UNICEF fundraising activities are conducted through verified UNICEF channels and recognized partners.
