Report
Out-of-school children in the State of Palestine
Who they are, where they are, and how can we reach them
Highlights
The 2014 State of Palestine Out-of-School Children report showed that while many of the primary school age children were enrolled in school, drop-out rate, of especially boys, increased rapidly by age of 15.
Among the key barriers that challenged children being in school were inadequate provision of tailored education services, fragmented nature of preventive support services, costs associated with schooling, and problematic administrative regulations and practices.
