Highlights
One in every four children in Malawi is stunted due to poor nutrition. Afikepo is a European Union-funded nutrition programme that aims to reduce stunting in under-five children through nutrition-sensitive agriculture.
It also aims to improve child feeding practices and enhance the nutrition security of women of childbearing age, adolescent girls, infants, and young children.
This newsletter has some of the latest stories on how children and families have benefited from Afikepo.
Implementation of the Afikepo programme completed in December 2023.
