Own Your Game is a global youth campaign part of UNICEF’s Fix My Food movement. It brings together young people around the world to share their experiences of sport and advocate for sport that is inclusive, promotes health and wellbeing, and driven by communities.

The campaign launches alongside the FIFA World Cup 2026, starting with football and expanding into all forms of sport and community play.

Young people across Lebanon are invited to join the global Own Your Game campaign by sharing authentic stories about how sport shapes their lives and communities.

What is Own Your Game?

Own Your Game was co-designed with young advocates from different countries as part of UNICEF’s Fix My Food movement.

Sport should be a space where young people feel:

  • Included
  • Confident
  • Respected
  • Connected to their communities

But today, sport is often surrounded by marketing and influence that does not always reflect these values.

This campaign asks a simple question: Whose game is it really?

Young people are coming together to say that sport belongs to the players, the communities, and the fans, not commercial interests that do not support health and wellbeing.

Through storytelling and real-life experiences, Own Your Game gives young people a platform to show what sport truly means in their lives.

How to get involved

Your voice can help shape healthier sports environments for children and young people.

We want to hear your thoughts on food marketing in sports. Take this quick 2-minute poll by sending the word “Game” and share your opinion to help us better understand young people’s perspectives.

Why this campaign matters

Sport can bring people together, build confidence, strengthen communities, promote healthy lifestyles, and create opportunities for young people to thrive.

Own Your Game invites young people to share their experiences, celebrate the role of sport in their lives, and stand up for a future where sport puts people and communities first.
