June 1st is National Children's Day in Lao PDR, a day for children by the children.

With the lives of many children having been disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic at an unprecedented level, it is important to empower children to become advocates for their rights and future. As we enter the post-pandemic world, it is also important that we take action against climate change to ensure that children and youths are able to thrive in an environment that is green and safe.

Therefore, in partnership with Lao Youth Union, UNICEF has announced a drawing competition for children to commemorate National Children’s Day in Lao PDR under the theme "Building and Reimagining a Greener and Safer Post-Pandemic World for Lao Children".

This is your chance to tell us what kind of post-pandemic world you want to see through your art!
