Negotiation can be defined as a process of communication between at least two parties aimed at reaching agreement on perceived divergent interests . This skills rests on an individual’s ability to cooperatively enter the process with respectful and yet assertive communication skills and come to mutually beneficial and acceptable agreements for all parties.

As expressed by our podcast guests, Bernardita Castillo and Maria Esperanza de La Cruz, negotiation is something that we witness on a daily basis, with our families, friends and partner; it is a key skill for adolescents.
