What does self-management mean?

Self-management can be defined as the ability to regulate and monitor emotions, feelings and impulses. It includes a broad category of related skills and has wide applicability in all domains of life. Moreover, self-management allows for the self-efficacy and self-awareness that betters relationships and quality of life overall.
