What do we do?
We are committed to ensuring that every child reaches their full potential. Therefore, we help improve access to high-quality, relevant, and inclusive, integrated care and education services from early childhood through adolescence.
To achieve these goals, we advise the government and our partners in non-governmental organizations, civil society, and the private sector to:
- Expand young children and their families’ access to inclusive quality services.
- Apply new models to improve teaching and learning in the first three grades of primary school. This helps students build strong foundations in language and mathematics, ensuring a successful school trajectory and completion.
- Implement peace culture interventions, where students, teachers, and the entire educational community can strengthen their capacities for participation and peaceful mediation in school environments.
- Prevent early unions through programs protecting adolescent girls' educational trajectories and life projects, especially the most vulnerable.
- Transform the Ministry of Education's disability support centers, supporting the inclusion of children and adolescents with disabilities in comprehensive early childhood care and education services.
- Identify and develop educational materials and tools to promote inclusive pedagogical practices.
