The UNICEF Volunteer Programme in Kyrgyzstan has been operating since 2018 and serves as a sustainable mechanism for engaging adolescents and young people in the implementation of programmes focused on child rights, education development, youth participation, and the climate agenda.
Today, UNICEF volunteers are not only participants in initiatives, but partners in the implementation of national and regional programmes, including the European Union–supported initiative “Strong Youth, Strong Country.”
Volunteers carry out activities across different regions of Kyrgyzstan, supporting programmes aimed at expanding adolescent participation and strengthening a safe and inclusive environment for every child.
