UNICEF in Kyrgyzstan
UNICEF opened its office in Kyrgyzstan in 1994. Currently, UNICEF has a Country Office in Bishkek. In 2010, UNICEF opened its Zone Office in Osh to coordinate and deliver our initiatives in Batken, Jalal-Abad and Osh provinces. These offices carry out UNICEF's mission through a unique set of programmes that focus on practical ways to realize the rights of all children. The programme interventions in each province are shown on the map below.
