Highlights
In 2024, UNICEF worked with partners in Kosovo impacting the lives and rights of over 423,000 children. UNICEF jointly with Kosovo institutions, civil society organizations, United Nations’ agencies and the private sector focused on improving access to quality health services and nurturing care, enhancing children’s access to quality learning opportunities and supporting young people’s engagement with work and society while also protecting children – particularly the most vulnerable - from violence, abuse, neglect and exploitation.
This report is a summary of the results achieved by UNICEF and partners in 2024 to address the overlapping social, economic, and environmental vulnerabilities of children and young people in Kosovo and advance their rights, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
