This study examines the feasibility of upgrading school internet connectivity in Kazakhstan to broadband speeds under the aegis of Giga, an initiative launched by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) to connect schools to the internet worldwide. Specifically, the study seeks to determine the feasibility of technical and financial solutions for broadband upgrades of connectivity to Kazakh schools.
