Iconic buildings around Iran turn blue in support for children and adolescents on the occasion of World Children’s Day

29 November 2021 - On the occasion of International Children's Day on November 20, and as part of the Programme Cooperation between UNICEF and the Ministry of Interior to implement the initiative of Child Friendly Cities, together with many cities around the world, a number of important buildings in Hamadan, Kerman, Isfahan, Shiraz, Evaz and Yazd cities were illuminated in blue as a sign of commitment and care for the issues and problems facing all children and adolescents around the world. This is a small but very important step to draw public attention to children and adolescents and to take immediate action to address the challenges they face on this special day.
