Successful positive discipline needs  everyone to be involved - children, parents, teachers and community members.

Positive discipline  nurtures good  behaviour change and  fosters healthy  growth and development of children

Positive discipline is not about  using  perfect English.  Creolese, indigenous languages are just as perfect.  The trick is to  be pleasant, consistent, friendly, and respectful.

Make sure children understand why certain behaviours are discouraged.  Explain reasons in a simple, friendly manner

Positive discipline helps children to be confident;  show appreciation and respect

Children learn to respect their elders when exposed to positive discipline
