#GoBlue 2020 in the Gulf Area

In recent years, lighting up monuments and landmarks in blue has become a show of solidarity.

This year, as the coronavirus pandemic severely hits the world’s children, solidarity is ever more important.

Around the world, the pandemic is adversely impacting every child right. The #GoBlue movement is a welcome sign of hope. Across the Gulf, the show of solidarity adorned the most iconic landmarks.

In Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, one of the city's tallest building, Kingdom Tower turned blue.

Many more several landmarks around Saudi Arabia also turned blue.

Meanwhile, in Abu Dhabi, several landmarks, including Qasr Al Qatan, joined the celebration. 

The Headquarters of the Saudi Human Rights Commission also joined the movement.

In Dubai, the Transport and Roads Authority lit major landmarks.

In Qatar, The National Museum of Qatar joined the celebration and was marked in blue.
