Highlights
This Budget Cycle Mapping and Social Sectors Financing Analysis report has been prepared by UNICEF Guinea-Bissau in collaboration with UNDP Guinea-Bissau through the Integrated National Financing Framework (INFF) flagship fund. A team of consultants led by Brais Álvarez Pereira (Senior Economist) and Anthony Hodges (Social Protection and PFM Expert) conducted the social sectors financing analysis. The research has been developed under the direct supervision of Mamadu Balde (UNICEF Guinea-Bissau Social Policy Specialist) and Michael Castro (WCARO Social Policy Specialist), who provided excellent guidance and substantial contributions. The team received the overall guidance and management from Etona Ekole (UNICEF Guinea-Bissau Country Representative) and Luula Mariano (UNICEF Guinea-Bissau Country Deputy Representative).
