Highlights
The Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) conducts the Population-Housing Census every ten years aiming to collect data on the demographic and social characteristics of the Greek population as well as on the composition of households and their housing conditions. The specific publication presents statistical information for children in Greece overall and for each of the thirteen regions of Greece based on the 2021 census, providing insights regarding the demographic and social characteristics of children, their housing conditions and more. UNICEF collaborated closely with ELSTAT for the coordination of the publication, provision of definitions and identification of needs for statistical information for children.
