Highlights

The gender and social protection roadmap is designed to steer key programmes in Ghana's social protection sector towards being gender and shock-responsive. It tackles urgent gender issues and offers strategic recommendations for achieving gender equality outcomes in line with Ghana's commitment to addressing the most pressing gender problems. The roadmap highlights the importance of inter-sectoral collaboration and coordination among different stakeholders through the Integrated Social Services Initiative (ISS) and utilises the Gender-Responsive Age-Sensitive Social Protection (GRASSP) Framework for its consultative process to address the diverse gendered vulnerabilities facing children and their families.
