Ghana has made remarkable strides in Early Childhood and Care implementation since the adoption of the policy on Early Childhood. However, the absence of standards for children 0-3 years that specifies what children at this age should know and be able to do has created a knowledge gap among relevant stakeholders on the developmental and stimulation needs of children in this age group.
