The second issue of Championing Change for Children, an advocacy bulletin that spotlights critical issues affecting children, highlights the importance of foundational learning. Foundational Learning – every child’s ability to read, write and do basic math by age 10 is a critical developmental milestone. Without these basic skills, children are unlikely to reach their full potential or thrive in school. The issue looks amongst others, why the Government of Ghana should prioritize this in the education agenda and how stakeholders can work together to ensure all children are not left behind.
