Several high-level delegates to the just-concluded Global Children and Youth Action Summit (CYAS) have pledged to support the work of children and youth as they demand participation in navigating the future of the 57 small states.

The occasion was the closing of the two-day CYAS which brought together 90 delegates from SIDS in the Caribbean, Pacific and the Atlantic, Indian Ocean and South China Sea (AIS) regions. The meeting of youth delegates was on the eve of the 4th International Conference on SIDS in Antigua and Barbuda. The CYAS was hosted by the Government of Antigua and Barbuda in collaboration with the Ashley Lashley Foundation and UNICEF.
