Highlights

In the Central African Republic, children continue to face immense challenges: nearly 2.4 million people – 38% of the population – are in need of humanitarian assistance, including 1.4 million children.

Through this presentation, UNICEF highlights its interventions in 2024 to address the most urgent needs:

• Rapid response to emergencies

• Access to health, nutrition, water and education

• Protection of children from violence, early marriage and lack of birth registration

• Amplifying the voices of children, adolescents and young people and promoting their rights.
