January 11th is the start of a new school year in Cambodia. The Ministry of Education and Sport, supported by UNICEF, have launched a nationwide "back to school" campaign to support this important milestone. The campaign encourages Cambodian children to return to classrooms while continuing to practice safe behaviour to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The campaign is themed around acting #TodayDontWaitForTomorrow, stressing the key precautions that can be taken at every moment to stay safe. It has been funded by the European Union and the Global Partnership for Education (GPE).
On this page you will find videos, posters, images and messages created to promote best practice among children, families and teachers, ensuring they all play a part in keeping schools safe and healthy. Please download and share these materials as widely as possible. If you are a partner who wishes to adapt the assets, please contact us at bbut@unicef.org. The more we work together to get these messages out, the likelier we are to give children the much better education in 2021 that they deserve.
